Hi there! I'm Naomi!

pastry chef | owner| restaurant enthusiast

When I was younger, I got interviewed by the local college newspaper in my hometown. One of the last things I remember saying was "I'm only 17 and I'm already doing what I'm going to do for the rest of my life, how cool is that?"

I'd been infatuated with baking for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by women who all loved baking-- my nanny, grandmother, and mother.  I can still recall the vivid memories of watching my nanny decorating beautiful wedding cakes, the smell of my grandmother's chocolate-flan coming out of the oven, or being on my tippy toes trying to reach the table while my mom rolled out empanada dough.

By the age of 13, I discovered how to use "fondant" and started making amateur cakes for my family members and close friends. Although I was self-taught and had never watched training videos or Cake Boss on tv, I realized I had a knack for it and started selling cakes at the age of 14.

By 16, I landed my first job as a cake decorator at a local bakery, and by 17 I was known all around school as the cake girl!

I never actually knew this was going to be my destiny, I just knew I loved it. After I graduated in 2014, I packed my bags and left to Austin, TX to go to Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School to become a pastry chef. Throughout the 7 years living there; I worked in several hotels, restaurants, bakeries-- learning and perfecting my craft. I fell in love with restaurants and the hospitality industry, and grew to discover my new passion: becoming an entrepreneur.
